What moves God to act on behalf of His Righteousness is when His people pray. Nothing is more powerful in touching God’s heart than the ascending prayers of those who love Him, obey Him, and are seeking to do His will in the earth. It is the cornerstone of the Lord’s Prayer: thy will be done on the earth as it is in heaven.
The state of America has never been in more dire times. The threat against all that is good, just, and true is tangible and living out in broad daylight. The egregious acts that the government is sanctioning and those in authority are a direct affront to God first and then against those who stand with God. While this is true, it is also the most glorious of times, IF the righteous lift their voice to God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob and in the name of His only begotten Son, Jesus, on His behalf and stand in the gap in petitions, prayers, and supplications for His divine intervention.
My Prayer to the Father for America in Jesus’ Name is a collection of such prayers. As you read over these words, allow them to search your heart as you repeat them to the Father. The battle will only intensify as the Lord’s return comes closer. Evil will always be present as long as we await the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords.
