Bastards in the Pulpit

$19.95

God is real. He does not hide the sins of His people, nor does He concern Himself with the identities of those who consider themselves significant when, in truth, they are mere vanity, altogether lighter than vanity. The Lord our God, who rides the thunders and oversees the affairs of men with or without their consent, desires truth in the inward parts and for the Body of Christ to remain unblemished by the filth and iniquity that tarnish it. Christ our Lord will not be mocked by contemporary antidotes that dilute the truth. Philosophies, motivationalism, and all forms of humanism- the commandments and doctrines of men- will not void His demand for holiness, obedience, and separation from the world. Despite the peace and goodness prophesied by those who offer strange fire, they do so from hearts misaligned with God’s heart. This reality is evident in their fruits: philosophies that deny the power of the cross while justifying the corrupt conduct of the flesh. This cancer has lingered in many of our pulpits long enough. Impurities behind the pulpit are clearly at work and revealed by conduct unseen in private. Yet God is exposing these sins and will expose them even more.

Finally, when the results are incorrect, you must trace them back to their source. Nothing is wrong with God. You must then look to the next element, namely His servants. Ah, my friend, there are betrayers among the servants of the Most High. Truly, their time has come to full bloom and, inevitably, to God’s judgment.

WHY IT HAPPENS
HOW IT AFFECTS
OUR FAMILIES
and
HOW TO DEAL WITH IT.

Exposing the problem of bastards in the pulpit is not a choice as servants of God. Rather, it is a mandate, an irrevocable order, a command bearing a weight of responsibility that extends into eternity. It is time for the Body of Christ to boldly identify the difference between one who has been purged from self-interests, political agendas, fear of faces, and hidden sins, even to one who justifies his sins because of grace. In these days of increasing apostasy, we must realize there are sons and then there are bastards...in the pulpit.
